Las Vegas is quickly becoming known for being more than just a casino and gambling destination, and has something on offer for all sorts of visitors. Gaining a reputation as an all-round tourist destination, a honeymoon in Las Vegas has more to offer than just slot machines and poker. From theme park like attractions to museums and a long list of impressive hotels, a wander around Las Vegas will be a feast for your senses. - The Strip, officially known as Las Vegas Boulevard, is where most of the gambling takes place in Las Vegas. Even if you’re not a gamer, you should take a look.
- The Liberace Museum has been toted as the best fifteen dollars spent in Las Vegas. It’s an astounding tribute to the pianist, with newspaper clippings, memorabilia and costumes on display.
- Stratosphere Tower is the tallest free standing observation tower in the United States, and offers amazing views of the Strip and Mt. Charleston. There’s even a roller coaster (the world’s highest) at the top!.

The city of Las Vegas is situated in an area with an arid, desert climate that receives over 300 days of sunshine, and only 29 days of rain per year. The conditions in the summer (June through September) are mainly very dry and hot, with temperatures ranging from around 35 to 40 degrees Celsius. On average, 133 days out of every year reach above 38 degrees Celsius, but since humidity rarely exceeds ten percent, you won’t necessarily sweat your honeymoon in Las Vegas away. Winters in Las Vegas are extremely short with daytime temperatures hovering around 15 degrees Celsius.

Irish couples headed to a honeymoon in Las Vegas can enter the United States with a valid passport and a visa waiver. The waiver should be applied for at least 72 hours in advance of departure, and is required for all travelers boarding flights to the United States.
