Mexico’s climate varies widely, making it a nation with one of the most diverse weather systems in the world. Whenever you plan your honeymoon in Mexico, you’ll need to pack a strong sunscreen. The climate in the south and along the coasts is tropical, while in the north and in areas of higher elevation the climate is temperate. With most of the larger cities in Mexico being situated at elevations above 2000 meters, temperatures generally range from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius. Along the coast you can expect higher temperatures reaching upwards of 30 degrees. The Caribbean coast is also prone to hurricanes in the summer and fall.
