The climate in Orlando is subtropical, with two distinct seasons occurring each year. The rainy season is hot and humid and lasts from June through September, and the dry season runs from October through May. Heavy afternoon thundershowers occur almost daily during the wet season, and temperatures remain in the mid-thirties throughout the day. The winter months are less hot and less humid, with daytime temperatures averaging just above 20 degrees Celsius, perfect for a honeymoon in Orlando. Night time temperatures during the winter rarely drop below 10 degrees, therefore warmer clothing is usually not required.
