- Take a walk on the Capilano suspension bridge. It’s one of the world’s highest and longest suspension foot bridges, at 70 meters above ground. Afterward, you can explore the area further while taking part in a suspension bridge tour, high above the forest floor.
- Explore Stanley Park. Hitch a ride on a horse-drawn carriage and take a tour through 1000 acres of lush nature, or pack a picnic and settle down in a quiet corner. And don’t forget the Vancouver Aquarium!
- Spend some time at Science World! It’ll bring out the child in both of you, and keep you busy for hours on a rainy afternoon.

When to go:
Vancouver’s climate is moderate year round, with warm summers and cool winters. It’s a city known for its rainy weather, particularly from October to March. July to September is the best time to plan a honeymoon in Vancouver if you’re hoping to take advantage of the Canadian summer, when skies are clearer and the sun shines bright. Temperatures in summer hover around 22 degrees, rarely higher, and in winter the temperature rarely falls below zero. Make sure to bring enough layers, particularly if you plan on taking advantage of the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities.
Flight Information:
From Dublin you can get an Air France flight to London Heathrow which will connect you to a British Airways flight to Vancouver. The total flying time is just under 15 hours.

Visitors from Ireland require a passport which must be valid at least one day past their intended departure date from Canada. No visa is required for stays of up to six months. The public transportation system in Vancouver is well developed and the use of a rental car is not required.
