The ceremony was the couple’s favourite part of the day. Clare arrived in style in a Bretchley from All Event Limousines, organised as a surprise by Andy.
There was a slight hiccup as the gospel choir didn’t show up so Clare’s bridesmaids stood in as a surprise singing “Going to the chapel” – Clare had thought she would be crying with emotion as she walked down the aisle but instead was singing and laughing. Everyone joined in and it was a great sense of everyone pulling together. Clare’s oldest brother walked her down the aisle as her dad sadly passed away from cancer when she was a baby. The priest Father Tom O’Keefe had done Clare’s communion and confirmation so it was another step in her life, he was co-celebrant with Clare’s godfather William Hanly. He had married her parents and was such a great support to her mum and family when growing up so it made the ceremony even more special.
