The couple had a variety of amazing entertainment laid out for everyone. Because of their international guests, they hired an Irish dancing display team to give them a taste of one of Ireland’s many fabulous traditions.
The couple hired the Silver Dollar wedding band and a DJ to do the music. Everyone had fun celebrating until the small hours, even Mary’s dad who danced until 2am!
One of the evening’s many highlights was the couple’s first dance. Of course, it had to be ‘We No Speak Americano’ which was the song they spontaneously danced to on one of their first meetings in Bahrain.
Mary had a fabulous second dress to change into for the evening reception, especially seeing as their first dance was not particularly traditional!
Her 50s style evening dress was decorated with pearls and diamantes and had a tulle skirt, capped sleeves and a corseted back. Ryan’s face was a picture when he saw his beautiful bride make her second entrance.
Because so many people travelled from all over the world to be with the couple on their special day, the week-long wedding celebrations were jam packed. Being reunited with old friends and family was so special for Mary and Ryan.
Ryan’s brother kept his attendance a secret from the groom as he had travelled all the way from South Africa. The surprise was revealed when he woke Ryan up on the day before the wedding – cue a speechless groom!
For their honeymoon, Ryan, Mary and her two boys decided to go on a stunning cruise down the River Shannon.
This was a great way for Ryan to experience more of Ireland and the family met loads of fantastic people along the way.
