The couple’s wedding ceremony took place at Lurgan Church of Ireland in Virginia. Since she was a child Naomi had known Archdeacon David Pierpoint very well and was delighted when he agreed to travel to Cavan to marry them. The wedding reception and evening reception were held at Crover House Hotel, with an additional 30 guests attending in the evening.
The wedding reception didn’t have a colour scheme but the couple chose childhood memories as their theme. Each of the tables were named after an 80’s TV show, with the top table being the A-Team (a favourite of Ronan’s). A family friend from Waverly Confectionary and gave them a gift of jars of old fashioned sweets such as bullseyes and apple drops for each table. They also had 80’s themed music when the bridal party entered the reception, the Looney Tunes for the bridesmaids and best men and the A-Team for Naomi and Ronan. In the evening they had entertainment from the band Loose Change who kept everyone dancing.
