Privately set in 240 acres, this secluded location has attracted numerous Hollywood filmmakers over the years: scenes from Braveheart, The Devil’s Own and Dancing at Lughnasa were filmed on Kippure Estate.     The River Liffey forms the natural border between the estate and the Wicklow Mountains National Park, offering superlative photographic opportunities.

Kippure Estate has been approved as a suitable venue to hold your Civil Marriage Ceremony. For this you have the choice of three rooms on the estate. The Cransillagh room is best for larger weddings, the Belfry and the Long Barn for more intimate ceremonies.
