Planning your wedding is often reported as being one of the
most stressful things you will do in your life, along with buying a house and
having your first baby!
So it’s no surprise that a recent survey from BT has announced that four in ten
people think planning a wedding is more stressful than their day job. Over a
quarter think it is more stressful than moving house, and 20% think it’s more
stressful than exams for higher education or professional qualifications. Only
8% of people think that there is nothing stressful about planning a wedding.
So where is all
this stress coming from? Your wedding is about celebrating your love for each
other amongst your closest friends and family. There are bound to be times when
you do feel stressed when planning such a big occasion but it’s also important
to remember that first and foremost this day is about you both as a couple.
The best way to
avoid stress when planning your wedding is to do as much as you can as early as
you can. You don’t want to feel rushed, so make yourself a schedule and stick
to it. By being a nuptales member you can create your own wedding to-do list as
well as a budget planner to help keep track of your spending! You will be
amazed at what a relief it is to see all your plans laid out in front of you
instead of jumbled up in your head!
