Create your own wedding moodboard

by Caroline@hitched

If you can’t decide on your wedding colour scheme then creating a few moodboards of your favourite wedding ideas is a great way to get inspired and see how different shades and styles work together.

All hitched.ie members can create their own wedding moodboards simply by going to the moodboard section in our member’s area. These moodboards are then saved in your profile for you to refer back to whenever you want. If you are not already a member then it’s quick, easy and free to register here.

Take a look at our rainbow of wedding moodboard ideas:

Red can be a great colour for a winter wedding, deep shades can look great against creamy ivory and makes the perfect Christmas colour scheme.

Often an over looked colour in the world of weddings, orange is perfect for an autumnal wedding day and looks great with gold and brown.

Add some sunshine to your day with a yellow colour scheme. Vibrant flowers and glowing bridesmaid gowns will look amazing in your wedding photographs.

Add some Irish charm to your wedding day with a green colour scheme, you can even go all out and have a beautifully iced green wedding cake.

Have more than just something blue by having a blue themed wedding day. Blue wedding flowers, a blue cake and blue decor ideas can all add to a blue themed wedding day.

Dark purple shades can look beautiful at a winter wedding, when it comes to choosing flowers you will be spoiled for choice with indigo blooms.

Perfect for a summer wedding, violet shades will look pretty and with purple being one of the most popular wedding colours you will have a wide range of wedding ideas to choose from.
