hitched.ie un-veils new table planning feature
The planning of a wedding takes patience, effort, time and can sometimes
cause a serious amount of stress. In order to relieve some of the pressures and
help a bride stay organised throughout the wedding planning process, hitched.ie
have designed and launched a brand new table planning feature, that is
available free of charge via hitched.ie.
The new table planning feature works hand in hand with the guest manager
tool and allows couples to ‘virtually’ seat their wedding guests around
tables. The bride and groom can design a
room based around the exact measurements of their chosen wedding venue and
include important elements such as a bar, a dance floor, a table for gifts and
a cake stand. A couple can also choose
to add additional tables for the guest book or an evening buffet for example.
Once the lay out of the room has been designed, the couple can choose
between square, rectangular or circular wedding breakfast tables and can give
each table a name, according to their wedding theme. The table planner works hand in hand with the
guest manager tool featured on hitched.ie and only shows guests who have
‘accepted’ their wedding invitation. This way, no one will be left out of
forgotten when it comes to the all important wedding breakfast.
Each guest is assigned to a colour, differentiating between male, female and
child, making it easy to see the ratio of who is sitting where. The user then simply has to click and drag
each guest from the right hand side of the screen, to the appropriate seat.
A wedding planning couple can create more than one table plan, so that they
can compare and contrast their ideas. The finished product can then be printed
and handed to a venue’s wedding coordinator, or it can be transferred to an
excel spreadsheet for personal reference.
The new table planner will hopefully transform one of the most difficult
aspects of wedding planning by making it fun, reliable, enjoyable and more
