For their wedding reception Niamh and Blain chose Castle Dargan in Ballygawley, Co. Sligo. The venue is a spa and golf resort hotel in one, built amidst 170 acres of beautiful forest and countryside. The couple had been looking at various venues located within a short distance from the church and had booked several appointments to visit venues around the Sligo, Galway and Roscommon areas – with the ultimate aim of having their wedding reception in a Castle.
The wedding coordinator Kim Monoghan was super helpful throughout the whole of their wedding planning process. And, besides Kim, every member of staff at Castle Dargan went out of their way to ensure that every Blain and Niamh had an amazing experience.
Although they we’re getting married just after Christmas, the couple didn’t want an obvious festive theme. They decided that an electric blue, burgundy and gold colour scheme would work beautifully, with touches of ivory, red, green and white featured in various other elements of the wedding. The personalised table seating plan was devised using a mixture of unique photo frames attached to a rustic wooden plaque. A unique and simple way design an effective, bespoke wedding table plan!
