The church wedding ceremony was beautiful. The priest was very relaxed and had a calming effect on everyone – including one of Niamh’s little cousins who shouted ‘NO’ in the middle of the congregation when the couple were just about to say ‘I do’. It took the couple a few minutes to stop laughing, but the moment couldn’t have been better and the bride and groom were soon to be announced as husband and wife.
They exchanged rings that they’d purchased from Christopher Murphy Jewellers in Santry before sharing their first kiss as a married couple. This amazing memory was recorded by Richard Finlay from Bride and Groom Films, so that the newlyweds can re-live their wedding time and time again.
All of the wedding flowers at Niamh and Blain’s wedding were silk – although you wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference. The flowers all looked and felt very real and the florist, Anne from Bloombox Weddings in Dublin, was creative in making the floral decorations look even more realistic.
