Good evening everyone. For those who do not know me, my name is Hannah, the very proud big sister of the bride. I want to thank all of you for coming here today to share Brayden and Nicole's special day. I also want to thank Nicole for choosing me to be the maid of honor, it's truly a blessing.
When Nicole was born, she came out with this bright red hair, and that very moment... we all knew we were in trouble. As we got older, she definitely proved to be quite the "devil child". She loved to pick on Kenny and I, her OLDER brother and sister, and she always knew what to say to irritate us. I think that's kind of the job of being the youngest sibling in the family though... and Nicole, you excelled at what you did!
As we grew older, she transformed into a beautiful, bold, feisty, and adventurous young woman. She basically had the whole package. Who doesn't love a girl who can wear heels one day and go hunting and dirt biking the next? She also loves to help others, so she even joined the Air force to become a medic. But, what i love about her the most is that she would stand up for what she believed in no matter what people thought. She was and always will be a very strong young lady and although, she may be my little sister, I will always look up to her and I can say any man would be lucky to have her as their Bride.
As all of you know, both Brayden and Nicole are in the Air force and they both met while they were working in the hospital on base in Mississippi. So it wasn't like i could just get up and drive to meet him. But, the first time I talked to Brayden, I knew he was the one for Nicole. He got in touch with me few weeks before Christmas, and told me he wanted to pay to fly me down to Mississippi to surprise my sister for her Christmas present. Let me remind you, I have never met or talked to him before this, so this was a REALLY good first impression... good job Brayden. So, a week before Christmas, I flew down to Mississippi and arrived there around 12 am. My sister was with his mother looking for a restaurant to eat at and apparently the only place open at 12 am down there, is Hooters. It wasn't really what we had in mind for this whole surprise thing, but we worked with it. Nicole was really surprised and couldn't stop crying because of how happy she was. Brayden just wanted to make my sister happy and that means a lot to her and I both. He not only stole my sisters heart that night, but mine too. He is such a gentlemen and I am so grateful that my sister has him to share her life with.
The two of them bring out the best in each other. When I see them, they are always laughing together and having fun together. They both share a positive attitude on life and are very determined to follow their dreams. They say everyone has a "one" and I really think these two found true love within each other.
My greatest wish for the two of you is that through the years, your love for each other will deepen and grow, that years from now you will look back on this day, your wedding day, as the day you loved each other the least.
To Brayden And Nicole!
