  Big, Big, Big thank you to James, Caroline, Bernie and the team in Muckross Park Hotel for ensuring that our wedding on the 18th of November was the best day ever! Our wedding was everything that we hoped for and more! We were so lucky to be the first wedding held in the function room which is just WOW! James (our wedding coordinator) has the unique ability to allow you to follow your wedding vision but also add excelling ideas, advise etc! It was like having our own Franc! He is so relaxed and facilitated every request we had, it really made the planning process so enjoyable! He was off the day prior to our wedding and even rang me to make sure everything was OK on arrival. He is just amazing. The food was exceptional, our guests are still taking about how it and how everyone in the hotel went above and beyond to welcome the Cork contingent. Big thank you to Caroline for all her help with the logistics/rooms etc. We would highly recommend Muckross Park Hotel as a wedding venue and day after after after party venue as we well as we hosted both days there. It exceeded all expectation. 5 stars are not enough! Thank you so much! PS: Not a usual choice for a wedding but the turkey and ham was a massive hit with our guests.

  We recently celebrated our wedding at Muckross Park Hotel and we're absolutely delighted with the venue and service. The place was well organised, spotlessly clean and staff could not do enough for you and were exceptionally attentive! The staff were going above and beyond when my grandmother fell ill the day before the wedding, we had to change plans at the last minute as a result and they made a difficult thing seem easy. The food was absolutely brilliant and our guests commented on the quality. In particular one guest who is a severe coeliac was praising the fact how well he was looked after and the options available to him. Prior to the service the went through all aspects of the day with us including options depending on weather for the brides entrance, drinks reception and photos. Everything went to plan and our guests had a great time the day of the wedding and the breakfast following on the day after. We could not recommend the venue and especially the staff highly enough! We'll definitely be back down there again for a weekend break!

  Fantastic Venue. Great accommodations. Staff were warm and helpful. The Atrium was a great space for the wedding - the lighting was special and really enhanced the event.   We had our wedding reception in Muckross Park in September 2017. Highly recommend this wedding venue. From our first dealings with the team they made it all very easy for us. We attended a wedding event in the hotel in January 2017 which I would also recommend to anybody considering their venue. The hotel did everything for us, from venue decorations to table plans to menus etc, it was very much all inclusive and there were no hidden extras. Staff (especially Bernie and Niall) highly professional, helpful and always available to us in the lead up. Meal was great, all guests very happy and no shortage of food/drinks on the night. Also a great set up with the residents' bar until 4am. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather on our big day and most guests were able to sit outside for the drinks reception and enjoy the sunshine. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and very much a 5 star standard. A lot of our guests stayed in the 2 bedroomed apartments on the grounds which are only a few minutes' walk from the main hotel. These are very handy for families and good value. The spa is lovely and handy if you've a rainy day the next day like we did! A few guests also used the free bikes and went for a cycle in the National Park. All in all cannot recommend Muckross Park highly enough for your wedding.

  Just wanted to thank all the staff at Muckross Park for making our wedding so special. From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were greeted with a 5 star service and smiles. The level of detail and attention we received was something else. We were not very happy with the food tasting at first but they ensured that by the end of the tasting we were satisfied. On the day of the wedding the food was absolutely superb and noted by a number of the guests. I wanted a Gin Bar and Cheese board which Muckross facilitated, while I provided the supplies, Muckross set the stations up to perfection and they were the talk of the wedding, well the Gin Bar was!!!!
  We had both pre and post wedding receptions at the hotel and once again the service and food was fabulous. I must say Kevin and I felt like movie stars all weekend, as everyone was at out beck and call and everyone knew our names!! It made the whole affair very intimate.
  Muckross provides a friendly yet very professional service which is exactly what you would expect when you are planning one of the most important days of your lives. The most important thing for me was that my guests were happy, full and merry and they were all the above. In fact they said it was one of the best wedding ever, if I don't mind saying so myself. But this was largely due to Muckross, I was able to sit back and relax and set the tone of the wedding while they did all the hard work.

  What a magnificent place. The hotel was stunning and the staff were excellent. They were so professional and couldn't do enough. All my guests said this. The coordinater was amazing.. Thank you Medina. Nothing went wrong, and we were so relaxed and just enjoyed our day.
  We had the Abbey suite for our wedding, and it was lovely as everything was there in the same room... dance floor, bar. It was personal to us. There was a self playing piano which was great.
  The bridal suite was gorgeous and when we went back there were rose petals.. such a nice touch. Wine on arrival and chocs everyday.
  The staff took care of everything we asked, including steaming my dress and numerous suites, as we had travelled from overseas.
  The wedding food was top class and plentiful.
  The spa was glorious ..I wish I could have stayed longer. Needless to say we will be back on our anniversary.
  I left the guest book behind and they posted it to me. So wonderful..I'm still smiling.

The venue certainly oozes character, and the wedding day decor provided by the hotel added to its charm and created our dream wedding venue. Thankfully, it didn't rain so we were able to host our drinks reception in the lawn which created an incredible atmosphere.
  
  The service by the whole team was truly excellent from start to finish. Everything was well organized for the wedding dinner. The room was spectacular and full of character like the rest of the venue. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food tasted.

From the moment the planning began we were made to feel so special and no request was too big or too small. Our wedding day was amazing from start to finish. We spent three days in the hotel and all staff members were so welcoming and accommodating. The dedicated wedding team ensured that everything was seamless from start to finish as well as accommodating any requests we had to the very best of their ability. The vendors suggested by the hotel for hair and flowers were A1. A massive thank you to Bernie, Caroline, and James for all their help. It was a pleasure to meet such professional, warm, and helpful people.

  We had an amazing weekend at the Muckross Park Hotel from start to finish. The staff were fantastic, the food was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better setting. Our guests couldn't say enough about the hotel and the staff all weekend. We are so pleased that we decided to have our reception there!   I cannot thank the Muckross Park Hotel enough for such an amazing wedding day. From our very first meeting at the Hotel we felt at ease with Bernadette and Joanna. They went thru everything with us from menu options, wine tasting evening helping us with wedding cars bands to check out and Djs and were always contactable if we had a query. But apart from the amazing food that our guests are still talking about and very professional bar staff and friendly waiting staff, for me the nicest thing the Muckross Park did was bring me a plate of sandwiches nd a cup of tea when we arrived at the hotel and I hadn't even requested them. It might seem like a very small thing but I'm a diabetic and as all brides know the morning of the wedding is an early start, so for them to bring me those sandwiches and that cup of tea meant We didn't have to worry about my sugar levels dropping and We could just go on and enjoy our magical day with our family & friends. Thank you Muckross Park hotel.
