Irish Music Weddings is a traditional Irish musician based in An Spidéal, Co. Galway, Ireland. Ronan Browne brings the haunting beauty of the uillean pipes, the flute, and the whistle to weddings all throughout the world. Ronan was the original pipe player in both Riverdance and the Afro Celt Sound System and has been performing live since 1977. He has a wide repertoire of songs for both civil and church ceremonies, as well as lively dance numbers and soft, romantic airs.
Throughout his many years playing at celebrations, Ronan has seen how the deep tones and high harmonics of the uillean pipes mesmerise audiences. This sound, interspersed with the flute and whistle, perfectly ties together the different sections of a wedding. Irish Music Weddings can also provide a number of other musicians to accompany Ronan. These include traditional Irish singers, harpists, a ballad group, and more. Ronan is in possession of one of four remaining uillean pipes made during the time of the Great Famine by Mr. Denis Harrington. Its unique, enchanting sound will stay in the memories of all your guests for many years to come.
