  Great wedding venue

  Great team at Lord Bagenal. Very accommodating. Food is fantastic, so many people complimented it. Lovely fresh flowers in lobby and Marina room. Small hotel so ensure your guests book rooms quickly. Hotel is excellent at providing list of other accommodation options to guests if no rooms available.

  16th Feb 2024

  We got married in Feb 2024 here. The staff and service was amazing. Our guest are still complementing us on the food and wonderful service.The hotel was so flexible with food choices we could have exactly what we wanted at a reasonable price.We also had a civil cermony at the hotel Sue and Niall took all the pressure away on the day their professionalism put us both at ease. We were so happy we booked this venue.

  Wedding Sept 2023

  We recently had our wedding reception in The Lord Bagenal, everything ran so smoothly, nothing was a problem, the food was fab, the room was decorated beautifully and the staff were so attentive. We wouldn't have changed a thing about our day and are so pleased with chose the Lord Bagenal

  The lord Bagnal

  From start to finish the staff at the lord bagnal Sue in particular were so helpful and accommodating to any of our requests. The attention to detail was excellent the room decorations, the food were all fantastic and everyone had a great day would highly recommend them.

  Excellent!

  We are so delighted we had our wedding in the Lord Bagenal which is situated on a beautiful setting by the banks of the River Barrow. The professionalism, kindness and attention to detail of Sue, Niall and all the team was top notch and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything went. We particularly loved the spacious sit-down area on arrival for our guests and also the option to sit outside by the hotel’s riverside area which on the day gave a Mediterranean feel. Our guests are also still commenting on how good the food was from start to finish. We would highly recommend other couples to choose the Lord Bagenal for their wedding!

  Wedding December 2022

  We had our wedding in the Lord Bagenal in December 2022. It was absolutely brilliant. From the first meeting with Sue, until the day itself, Sue's communication was brilliant. She responded promptly even with all the weddings the hotel had. Everything went as planned and on our wedding day the staff were brilliant and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this a wedding venue. Especially at Christmas the hotel reception and ballroom were dressed with Christmas decorations which was an extra nice touch, and brought an extra feel to the place. The rooms are lovely also. Do not hesitate to call Sue for an appointment.

  We had a brilliant wedding day at The Lord Bagenal Inn. Our guests have told us how much they loved the venue-the food, the atmosphere and the friendly staff. The staff were so helpful and so kind to us from the very beginning. Sue worked with us to plan the perfect day and made sure everything was just as we wanted. Niall was so kind and helpful. He made sure everything went swimmingly on the day and was there for us throughout the day to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The dinner and bar staff were also very friendly and service was great. The venue is perfect for beautiful wedding photographs. I will be recommending The Lord Bagenal Inn to anybody who needs the perfect wedding venue.

  Excellent experience from booking our date to checking out the morning after.

  Sue, Niall and the team in the Lord Bagenal host numerous weddings weekly, but they made us feel like we were the most important wedding they have ever done!! It was such a special day and everything ran so smoothly and not one single glitch was made.

  Absolutely amazing venue for a wedding. From start to finish Niall and Sue were amazing nothing was a problem made us both feel very relaxed and welcome. All of our guests we praising the food and the hotel. We would recommend the hotel to everybody not just as a wedding venue but even just for a break away we honestly not give the place the credit it deserves 10 out of 10. We will be going back down soon. Thanks again Niall and Sue yous were both amazing

  Myself and new husband arranged a small intimate wedding with Sue in Lord Bagenal Inn. From start to finish the organization was flawless! Our wedding was above and beyond what we expected. The staff are absolutely exceptional, every single detail was catered for. The food, atmosphere, rooms were all amazing, I couldnt have imagined our wedding any other way, and we are beyond happy we chose the Lord Bagenal and would not hestiate to recommend to any couples looking for an amazing location!
