We got married in August 2020 and we have nothing but good memories of the day. From the time we booked the venue all the way up until the morning after our wedding day, the standard of care, courtesy, and professionalism was second to none. The first time we chatted with Denise and Rachel they were so welcoming and easy to deal with, nothing was ever a problem, and anything we needed to know Denise or Rachel were always on the other side of the phone or email. Obviously, due to COVID things were changing on a week to week basis but I was always kept in the loop and up to date with protocols and I was never chasing them for answers. The organisation should have been very stressful with the constantly changing guidelines but Rachel dealt with everything for us so that we had no stress. We had a lovely evening doing the menu tasting and in the few weeks leading up to the wedding and met the night manager Stephen who put us all at ease about how everything would run on the big day. As for the wedding, the food was amazing and we received a huge amount of positive feedback about the meal and the drinks reception; all of the steaks were cooked to perfection, the glasses were never empty! The service was just out of this world! The one thing we loved about on the day was we didn’t have to worry about anything as Rachel, Jillian (The Food and Beverage Manager) and Stephen (The Night Manager) had everything under control and they went above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend The Great Southern Hotel for your special day as the venue itself with its' beautiful gardens are perfect for your wedding photos. This is another huge advantage as we were able to get photos inside and outside the venue. There is a reason the Great Southern has such a good reputation for weddings; they are extremely good at what they do. Overall I can only describe our special day as magical. Without a doubt, we had an absolutely amazing day and there's nothing we could fault, even weeks later looking back. I would no hesitation recommending the Great Southern for a wedding! "Where do I begin?! There is so much to commend the Heights Hotel on. To begin with, we were overseas when we got engaged & when my sister viewed and recommended this hotel, from then onwards it got better and better. The staff, whether it was on reception or in reservations, always were courteous and professional with me, each & every time I rang/emailed them. I know I was one of many contacting them but I always felt my queries were dealt with promptly. Thank you! A special thank you to Natalie, she is superb at her job. Everything appeared so effortless in how she worked to accommodate all our requests & changes. Again, I know she had other weddings & events to organise but we definitely felt solely focused on whilst dealing with her. This is a credit to her as I know organising and coordinating the wedding is a major responsibility to be given & she did an amazing job right up to the day and on the day itself. We had a great day, arrivals, seating, food etc was excellent & most of all we didn't have any worries. I highly recommend Natalie Bader to organise anyone's wedding, thank you Natalie!"

Thank you so much for a super wedding weekend we were able to host for our small group with your help at this amazing estate. Kate, you made it so easy for us to plan the wedding from abroad and we really appreciated all you advice and quick responses when planning as well as during the weekend itself. Everything was spot on. Adele you were just so lovely! And made a gorgeous wishing tree for us, with branches and flowers from the estate. Aiden, you were amazing during the whole weekend. From suggesting to have the ceremony up by the lake house (such a special spot) to lending us your jambox and fixing me up with the largest glasses of baileys anyone has seen, to your legendary selfie in the ball pond, thanks so much. All our guests (and us too) were really impressed with the food, from our informal pre wedding homemade pizza party to the most delicious dessert table on our wedding day, we”ve had so many guests telling us how much they enjoyed it, so fab job Pamela! The rooms as well as the communal areas of the house felt so luxurious and cosy at the same time, we really felt like it was our home for the weekend. The grounds are spectacular, with the gorgeous lake and of course the sky garden. Its just truly magical and was also ideal for our group with quite a few kids aged 1-3, who had the best time roaming around the grounds. We had such a great weekend and could not have asked for more. Thanks so much for helping us create this special memory.”

We had our wedding on New Years Eve and it was magical. From the decor and festive atmosphere to the service it was all exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel for your wedding. The staff made it all special for us. Bernie the wedding Planner was very professional and helped us with ideas and suggestions for the big day! The management Niall on the day was very efficient , approachable and we trusted that all was in capable hands for the event. Friendly staff and compliments to John the Chef for the fabulous food. Our guests were very impressed with the whole day from the service, food, venue the lot! Thanks for an amazing memorable day!

We had our wedding reception at the Brehon and stay a night or two every time we're back in Kerry. Highest standards for the price and hotel rating. Keep up the good work. I would like to see more choice from the movie guide in the room but It’s a tiny complaint, I should be outside more anyway ;-)

Joanne O'Donovan We got married here on the 4th June 2016. The Sneem hotel was just amazing and made our day even more special. The location is stunning, we are both from West Cork and a lot of our guests had never been to Sneem before, they were just blown away by the place. On the run up to the wedding we were constantly in contact with Louise, who would always provide us with the best advice and nothing was ever too much bother. She's a real people person and would put you at ease straight away. The day off the wedding Louise and the staff really pulled it out of the bag. All the guests loved the food, the hotel looked amazing and the service was top class. It was the little touches and extras which I really loved and makes Sneem different from anywhere else. It was an epic day and I loved every minute of it!!

The Skellig Hotel delivers just the extra special touch for your special day. Surrounded by breath taking scenery, the Skellig is sure to wow your guests before they have even entered the hotel. Once inside each guest commented from the warm welcome from every single member of staff. Apart from everyone raving about the specatcular food, they just couldn't have praised the waiting staff more. Your wedding day is supposed to special but the Skellig really does have the "special" touch. "Special place, superb service and sensational surroundings". All my guests just cannot thank you enough! Everyone talking about booking for the Anniversary!!!

We had our wedding reception here in 2010 and it was fantastic, food was amazing, especially the deserts!. The staff were absolutely brilliant and everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We had about 75 guests and the dining room was the perfect size.

When we got engaged, we did what most couples do - we went through the motions and looked at possible venues to hold our reception. I always knew that we would never find a venue like Jack's...with guests travelling from both home and abroad, we wanted that certain ' je ne sais quoi'. On the day itself, we didn't have to travel far-from Cromane Church to Cromane beach for the photos and straight to Jack's where we had that very important time for meeting our guests in the garden. We were able to relax, sip champagne and enjoy the fabulous selection of canapes in the glorious sunshine as J.P. serenaded us all. Local guests had a great sense of what was to come but it was the reaction of friends and family, who had not yet experienced what Jack's had to offer, that proved to us that we had been perfectly right in choosing Jack's to host our reception. Comments that stand out for me would be ' undiscovered gem', 'an exclusive venue', 'spectacular location', 'Michelin- star quality food', 'precision detailing', ' faultless service' and my personal favourite ' Best Wedding Ever'! We enjoyed every moment of our Wedding Day and as the sun was rising the following morning, we didn't have to walk home, (as planned), as Brian had organised for us to stay in one of their houses next door. It was the perfect end to the perfect day. Thank you so much Brian, Pauline ,J.P., Jonathan and all the staff in Jack's for making the day such a wonderful success.

On the 27th September we got married and our reception was at the Dunloe Castle. What a place!! this was simple amazing, Jason and his team are World Class and the service that was supplied to us and our guest was faultless. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was brilliant. We have stayed in many Hotels around the world but we have never experienced anything like The Dunloe before. Jason is a young enthusiastic and very talented manager who treats everyone from the guest to his staff with respect and a charm that is hard to find. We will definitely be back in The Dunloe and I very much look forward to it. If you are in Ireland make sure you go to The Dunloe because you wont be disappointed . Thankyou Jason and your team for making our wedding day absolutely magical. We wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a Happy 2014!! Go the Dunloe !! Kind Regards Ben and Elaine
