Wedding Venues Killarney

We had our wedding here last month, and I'm struggling to find words to describe it - none of the words I'm coming up with are good enough! The venue is just fabulous - it really gave the whole day a great relaxed atmosphere. We've seen some of the photos from the wedding already, and the venue really makes them - they look so classic, so old world and stunning. John was amazing to deal with all the way up to the wedding - so incredibly dedicated!! We had some very different ideas for what we wanted to do, and he was great for input as to what would and wouldn't work based on his experience. It was never a flat no - always very willing to do anything we wanted, but giving us so much great advice that really made sense, and it really made the preparations so stress-free!! Our room was epic. We had a standalone bathtub and views out across the bay – really beautiful. John and his entire staff are just amazing - we really had the time of our lives, and they ran a flawless weekend. Everyone was so friendly, so cheerful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and I felt so spoiled, all weekend. And the food!! Oh, the food!!! They impressed us all weekend!!! My mouth's watering just remembering it a month later. I think I've fallen in love with their crab cakes (soo good!!) and the steaks that just melted in our mouths. The BBQ wedding feast went down a massive hit with our guests too!

Our wedding at Inishbeg was truly magical , we had guests coming from every part of the world and wanted them to sample the best that Ireland has to offer . Inishbeg was just the perfect template for us and had this incredible effect on all our guests who were all just overjoyed on the weekend . You have put your heart and soul in the place and it shows , Lisa and I have wished on so many occasions that we could re-live the moment as it was just spectacular. Everything about the weekend was memorable ranging from your warm hospitality, the Gypsy retreat and its free standing bath tub, the emotions at the church followed by the hilarious Mescherchmitt break down, the enchanted forest walks, the Gubbeen pig at the Boathouse and even the storyteller who no one could understand, the list goes on. We were looking for an open template , not a wedding factory and Inishbeg proved to be the ideal setting for us, it is very close to our heart and we will always come back to it . Thank you so much, it was the most important moment in our lives and you certainly helped a great deal in making it memorable for all.

We got married at Christmas in Fota. To say it was magical is an absolute understatement. The setting, food, staff and bridal suite were all amazing. Our wedding coordinator, Hazel O' Connell, couldn't have been friendlier, more enthusiastic or more accommodating. We loved our meetings in the run up to the wedding! I would recommend and have been recommending this hotel to everyone. As I mentioned earlier our wedding day in Fota was truly "magical".

As a newly married couple we can not rate Kenmare Bay Hotel & staff highly enough for all they done for us on the day & months leading up to the big day. From the start dealing with Sile we got excited. She is a lady & we new from the first time meeting her she was going to make things very easy and straight forward for us both. She made sure all the fine details were secured and she made it so exciting as she just knew the run of it. Tom took over then & to say took over he literally did. We left him at it as you just knew he would look after everything. On the day all out guests spoke so highly of the top class & friendly service and our guests are still talking about the amazing food. It was a pleasure dealing with Hanneke from Reservations as we had a lot of people travelling & staying. She made sure everyone was looked after . We really cannot thank the Kenmare Bay and staff enough for all their help & for making the 1st of April so special for us. We enjoyed every minute of our 3 days in Kenmare & look forward to returning shortly . X

A huge thanks to all at the Dunloe Hotel & Gardens for all their hard work in making our wedding day the best day of our lives. The day ran seamlessly from start to finish and our guests are still raving about the quality of both the hotel and the food. It was fantastic to see it all come together so well on the day. I cannot thank the Muckross Park Hotel enough for such an amazing wedding day. From our very first meeting at the Hotel we felt at ease with Bernadette and Joanna. They went thru everything with us from menu options, wine tasting evening helping us with wedding cars bands to check out and Djs and were always contactable if we had a query. But apart from the amazing food that our guests are still talking about and very professional bar staff and friendly waiting staff, for me the nicest thing the Muckross Park did was bring me a plate of sandwiches nd a cup of tea when we arrived at the hotel and I hadn't even requested them. It might seem like a very small thing but I'm a diabetic and as all brides know the morning of the wedding is an early start, so for them to bring me those sandwiches and that cup of tea meant We didn't have to worry about my sugar levels dropping and We could just go on and enjoy our magical day with our family & friends. Thank you Muckross Park hotel.

All requests were catered for, including late changes to our accommodation and numbers. They staff members that stood out were Kelly Ann in the planning and Sinéad on the day. Ciaran, Marius and Rebecca were also a great help.

Our day at the Dingle Skellig was seemless. We had a lot of personal touches and preferences that required a keen eye and extra help and once we handed over to the staff and explained our ideas we never had to look back. They managed everything beautifully from setting up our centerpieces to managing our time so that both we and our guests had a brilliant day and could focus on our ceremony and celebration. I could not have asked for more in terms of helping our guests with children who enjoyed the family friendly amenities to spending time with the bridal party at the spa. We look forward to spending happy anniversaries at the Skellig in the future! The combination of service and beautiful setting is exactly what we had pictured for such a special day!

We got married in August 2020 and we have nothing but good memories of the day. From the time we booked the venue all the way up until the morning after our wedding day, the standard of care, courtesy, and professionalism was second to none. The first time we chatted with Denise and Rachel they were so welcoming and easy to deal with, nothing was ever a problem, and anything we needed to know Denise or Rachel were always on the other side of the phone or email. Obviously, due to COVID things were changing on a week to week basis but I was always kept in the loop and up to date with protocols and I was never chasing them for answers. The organisation should have been very stressful with the constantly changing guidelines but Rachel dealt with everything for us so that we had no stress. We had a lovely evening doing the menu tasting and in the few weeks leading up to the wedding and met the night manager Stephen who put us all at ease about how everything would run on the big day. As for the wedding, the food was amazing and we received a huge amount of positive feedback about the meal and the drinks reception; all of the steaks were cooked to perfection, the glasses were never empty! The service was just out of this world! The one thing we loved about on the day was we didn’t have to worry about anything as Rachel, Jillian (The Food and Beverage Manager) and Stephen (The Night Manager) had everything under control and they went above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend The Great Southern Hotel for your special day as the venue itself with its' beautiful gardens are perfect for your wedding photos. This is another huge advantage as we were able to get photos inside and outside the venue. There is a reason the Great Southern has such a good reputation for weddings; they are extremely good at what they do. Overall I can only describe our special day as magical. Without a doubt, we had an absolutely amazing day and there's nothing we could fault, even weeks later looking back. I would no hesitation recommending the Great Southern for a wedding! We are so delighted to have had our wedding venue as the Heights Hotel. We planned our wedding from London and it only took one visit to choose our venue, The Heights (We visited 5 in total). The venue was everything we wanted and more, it was able to cater for all our ideas and Natalie also made that happen! It was recently undergoing refurbishment so it felt so new and fresh. From the beginning, Natalie was so helpful and understanding, as stressful as planning a wedding can be, Natalie always made me feel calm and at ease (even through emails!) She was able to visualise all my ideas and helped me make ALL of them happen. Even the smallest of details! On the day of the wedding our guests were treated so amazingly by all the staff at The Heights! We received so much nice feedback the next morning at breakfast about how polite the staff were, how amazing the dinner was (and the portion sizes!). I loved how I didn't feel at all stressed or overwhelmed when it came to the days before the wedding. I felt like everything was taken care of. I wouldn't have changed anything from our special day, id love to do it all again! We are even planning our 1st anniversary to return to Killarney and to return to The Heights as this will always be a special place for us! A special thank you to Natalie, Ivan, Joan and Jane!
