Our wedding at Inishbeg was truly magical , we had guests coming from every part of the world and wanted them to sample the best that Ireland has to offer . Inishbeg was just the perfect template for us and had this incredible effect on all our guests who were all just overjoyed on the weekend . You have put your heart and soul in the place and it shows , Lisa and I have wished on so many occasions that we could re-live the moment as it was just spectacular. Everything about the weekend was memorable ranging from your warm hospitality, the Gypsy retreat and its free standing bath tub, the emotions at the church followed by the hilarious Mescherchmitt break down, the enchanted forest walks, the Gubbeen pig at the Boathouse and even the storyteller who no one could understand, the list goes on. We were looking for an open template , not a wedding factory and Inishbeg proved to be the ideal setting for us, it is very close to our heart and we will always come back to it . Thank you so much, it was the most important moment in our lives and you certainly helped a great deal in making it memorable for all.

My son Michael and his bride Louise got married in Castle Oliver on 31st October, 2012. Amazing day. The catering was done by Ken Stembridge from azur restaurant Limerick, food to die for, it was more than amazing. Family and friends had a very memorable day.

We've been married 4.5 years and people still rave to us about how much they enjoyed our wedding day. We wanted something that would reflect us as a couple, something intimate and relaxed but with impeccable food. We're not the kind of couple who wanted a big fuss or plan everything to the nth degree. We wanted an easy, comfy, fun day. Michael, Eileen and team provides exactly that. Flemings has been a favourite of ours for years, but dealing directly with Michael for the first time to plan out wedding reinforced to us just how right the decision was. He couldn't have been more helpful, informative, easy to deal with and totally on our wavelength. He made everything so simple. The food, as expected, was outstanding and we had such a good party going on afterwards that the DJ played an extra two hours for free as he himself was having so much fun! That pretty much says it all. For a romantic, beautiful, gourmet-filled, stress-free day, I couldn't recommend Flemings highly enough. Apart from choosing my husband, choosing Flemings was the best decision I made. Caz Koopman, Cobh.

We were fortunate to be invited to dear friends daughters wedding and 5 day stay at this lovely location! It is located in the countryside amongst rolling green hills, the smell of clover and adorable westie pups along with some other well cared for farm animals that were a delight to visit with! The manor home, or reception area was something out of a young brides dream wedding! To have cottages for family and friends to stay and visit with and with the lovely grounds, made this a dream come true! The reception was Devine..food so tasty we needed to get some recipes from the chef whom gladly shared! The owner was a lovely woman whom walked around making sure all was well! Lovely touch! This made our trip so memorable, thank you all Barnabrow House!! A most memorable event!!

It was because of a last minute recommendation that we visited Shirley Kilduff at the Oranmore Lodge Hotel. We had planned to visit two venues that Sunday afternoon and the Oranmore Lodge was the second appointment of the day. After a disastrous visit to Venue No.1, we approached the Oranmore Lodge with not a lot of enthusiasm. Thankfully, we were met by Shirley who banished all negative thoughts and her attention to detail, good advice and cheerfulness won us over immediately so we booked the date on the spot! From then on it was plain sailing – we did not encounter one single problem in the preparation and planning of our Wedding Day. We decided to have both the Wedding Ceremony and the Reception at the Oranmore Lodge and Shirley’s advice regarding the booking of the Registrar to tie the Ceremony seamlessly to the Reception was invaluable – it made the day. Her patience in the days preceding the wedding was impressive, particularly regarding amendments to our seating plan. On the day of the wedding we glided through the day happy out in the knowledge that we were being looked after Royally. Shirley directed the day and along with the amazing staff at the Lodge created the most beautiful memories for ourselves and all of our Guests. The meal was truly sumptuous and our guests were seriously impressed with the quality of each course. We had a beautiful, special, memorable day and night – if we had to do it again we would not change one single thing.

We had our wedding here last month, and I'm struggling to find words to describe it - none of the words I'm coming up with are good enough! The venue is just fabulous - it really gave the whole day a great relaxed atmosphere. We've seen some of the photos from the wedding already, and the venue really makes them - they look so classic, so old world and stunning. John was amazing to deal with all the way up to the wedding - so incredibly dedicated!! We had some very different ideas for what we wanted to do, and he was great for input as to what would and wouldn't work based on his experience. It was never a flat no - always very willing to do anything we wanted, but giving us so much great advice that really made sense, and it really made the preparations so stress-free!! Our room was epic. We had a standalone bathtub and views out across the bay – really beautiful. John and his entire staff are just amazing - we really had the time of our lives, and they ran a flawless weekend. Everyone was so friendly, so cheerful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and I felt so spoiled, all weekend. And the food!! Oh, the food!!! They impressed us all weekend!!! My mouth's watering just remembering it a month later. I think I've fallen in love with their crab cakes (soo good!!) and the steaks that just melted in our mouths. The BBQ wedding feast went down a massive hit with our guests too!

We got married at Christmas in Fota. To say it was magical is an absolute understatement. The setting, food, staff and bridal suite were all amazing. Our wedding coordinator, Hazel O' Connell, couldn't have been friendlier, more enthusiastic or more accommodating. We loved our meetings in the run up to the wedding! I would recommend and have been recommending this hotel to everyone. As I mentioned earlier our wedding day in Fota was truly "magical".

We had our wedding reception at Actons this year and cannot rate this place more highly!! The team at Actons is absolutely AMAZING!!! By the end of the wedding, I felt like they were my family because each person took a true interest in making our day an absolute dream come true!!! And God bless Ian for just being a SUPERSTAR at wedding coordination. Nothing was too much trouble and he ALWAYS had a smile on his face. If you work with Ian, I promise you're in good hands. He will ensure you have the perfect day and one you'll never forget. Our guests love staying at the hotel with views overlooking the harbour and delicious breakfast each morning. The food on the day of the wedding was superb - we served the option of sea bass or beef filet and everyone was raving about it. Thanks so much again to the Actons team for making our day so special. Especially, Ian, Laura, Eilish, Fidelma, Tomas, and Richie!

As a newly married couple we can not rate Kenmare Bay Hotel & staff highly enough for all they done for us on the day & months leading up to the big day. From the start dealing with Sile we got excited. She is a lady & we new from the first time meeting her she was going to make things very easy and straight forward for us both. She made sure all the fine details were secured and she made it so exciting as she just knew the run of it. Tom took over then & to say took over he literally did. We left him at it as you just knew he would look after everything. On the day all out guests spoke so highly of the top class & friendly service and our guests are still talking about the amazing food. It was a pleasure dealing with Hanneke from Reservations as we had a lot of people travelling & staying. She made sure everyone was looked after . We really cannot thank the Kenmare Bay and staff enough for all their help & for making the 1st of April so special for us. We enjoyed every minute of our 3 days in Kenmare & look forward to returning shortly . X

A huge thanks to all at the Dunloe Hotel & Gardens for all their hard work in making our wedding day the best day of our lives. The day ran seamlessly from start to finish and our guests are still raving about the quality of both the hotel and the food. It was fantastic to see it all come together so well on the day.
