  The staff were amazing, food was outstanding

  My sister got married yesterday and the reception was held in the Central Hotel, Donegal Town. The staff were amazing, the food was outstanding and the service at the top table was something else! Words cannot possibly describe how amazing our experience was. We would like to send our extended thank you's to Eamon, Catherine and all the staff that helped make our day one to remember

  The whole event was second to none

  My husband and I got married in Central Hotel Donegal Town on 30th December 2016. We had civil ceremony and reception there and we were treated like royalty by all the staff. Thank you to Eamon and Catherine and all your staff for all your care and attention to detail. The whole event was second to none xo??Bet and Alan

  I cannot rate the management enough for everything

  My wife and I booked the Abbey almost 2year before our big day and from that day on we were treated like one of the family. I cannot rate the management enough for everything they did for us. All the staff work exceptionally hard and provided us with a dream day. The decor was exceptional with the finest of detail. The food was served bang on time and everyone in the room of over 350 served extremely fast. Everyone that attended our day said the food was brilliant and plenty of it. One comment actually said that a local 5star didn't even come close to the service the Abbey provided us. We would highly recommend to anyone getting married near or far to definitely consider here. Thank you for making our day stress free and special

  absolutely fantastic service

  I would just like to thank the abbey hotel for the absolutely fantastic service at our wedding last weekend, from the first time we met with Patricia to discuss having our wedding there the abbey could not do enough for us, anything we asked for we got and they went over and above to make everything perfect for us! I would highly recommend this venue for any bride and groom to be, the staff are brilliant, the food is fab and the ballroom is beautiful set up! Ann and her team do a wonderful job setting up the room, I will never forget walking into the ballroom and seeing it set up before the crowd went it, it was like a fairy tale! Thank you so much to Patricia, Ann, Danny and all the staff for making our wedding such a day to remember, Niamh and Shaun X
