We had a fantastic day at Urban Brewing on our wedding reception. Everything was exactly as we wanted it and the staff were really caring and always there for us for every need. We can't thank enough Tommy, our service guy that went above and beyond to look after us always with a kind smile. The food was lovely, we got a great feedback from our guests. Even the little things that were your own addition were a lovely surprise for us! Thank you for everything, we will be recommending the place to friends looking for a space for functions.

We had an early spring wedding in BrookLodge and we could not recommend it enough. Everything was perfect and our guests still comment how delicious the food was and what a fabulous venue it was. The wedding coordinators are excellent, in particular Monika who looked after us so well in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. Overall we couldn’t fault BrookLodge!

We had our wedding here. The food was excellent as were the wines. The service was exceptional. Thank you all at ely. We had an amazing time. 10/10

If you are looking for a fantastic venue for your wedding, we 100% recommend the Shamrock Lodge Hotel in Athlone. We had our wedding in the Shamrock Lodge on the 18th of July 2015 and couldn't be happier with the venue we chose. The hospitality from Alan & Paddy McCaul and all the staff was top notch. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful and down to earth. From the very first meeting with Alan, the General Manager, we were made to feel welcome and that nothing would be a problem with planning the wedding. We live in Australia but even this huge distance was no problem as we had numerous calls and emails with Alan to keep us up to date with anything we needed to do. Nothing we asked for was an issue, they really are professional and make the whole wedding venue planning process actually easy and fun! We, our families and guests had a fantastic weekend. We honestly cannot fault anything. We received so many compliments about the food and service, everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after perfectly. Alan was personally there for the whole wedding day to make sure we were happy and that everything was running smoothly. The hotel has been newly renovated and all of our overseas guests were very impressed with the rooms. We also took advantage of the lovely gardens and different areas of the hotel for our photographs on the day. Our whole wedding experience was amazing thanks in a large part to the Shamrock Lodge Hotel. We really look forward to going to my sister’s wedding there next year.

Dear Sir / Madam, Please forgive me for not writing sooner to thank you all most sincerely for making my daughter's day such a special one. I wish to commend all of you on your courtesy and many kindness over the time we spent with you. Your attention to detail and gentle and friendly attention to all guests requirements was exemplary. This was altogether an outstanding performance by all personnel much more so in the light that it was a special weekend, in that extra stress was placed on the dynamic of the hotel with the International football team being in residence. We held our wedding reception in the Schoolhouse in September 2014. We were organising our wedding from Australia and from the first time we made contact with Therese (GM) we were met with professionalism, friendliness and prompt replies to our numerous emails and enquires. Therese made herself available to meet with us prior to our wedding day to select our wines and the evening before the wedding to finalise last minute details. She was fantastic at putting our nerves to ease – the day we checked in she announced “ no stress allowed” Our reception went extremely smoothly. The restaurant was decorated with flowers, petals on the tables and candles & looked beautiful. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and loved how there were 3 choices for starters, mains and desserts - each one cooked to perfection (also, great feedback on the vegetarian option). The service was faultless and all the staff were extremely professional and at the same time so friendly. After dinner we moved to the bar area where we had a reserved area for cupcakes, tea and coffee – This was again, beautifully decorated with superb ambiance. If you are thinking about holding your wedding at the Schoolhouse … DO IT! We would recommend the schoolhouse hotel for a wedding, dinner, or just to pop in for a drink - nothing is too much hassle, the hotel, restaurant and bar area have such a great atmosphere. The location is superb, right by a canal, walking distance to city, looks great in wedding pics, great staff.. what more do you need. Therese and ALL staff – Thank you so much for making our day so enjoyable and stress free we will definitely be back for a drink when we are next in Dublin. Andrew & Libby

I don't even know where to start. Every single thing was perfect from the waiters in the hotel and room service to every tiny detail during the wedding. The royal marine's attention to detail was spectacular and I don't think anyone expected such a perfect day and wouldn't have from any hotel. You have definitely out done all your competition. Firstly many things were tweaked last minute in fact I found the last two weeks the hardest. Of course Michelle with her professionalism and patience made it seem like a walk in the park. Michelle was always there when I needed her. I can't remember one mail that lasted more than 15 mins before I got a response. Michelle was always cheerful and pleasant and not once made me feel I was being pain. Which being a project manager I know I was and I don't envy her for having to deal with me. :) Her attention to detail was absolutely superb every single detail went as planned and even better on the day. I could write pages about her great she was, she was absolutely fantastic. Everyone in the hotel was great every single waiter and everyone in housekeeping too. All my family were blown away and I think some of them have sent feedback. The food was excellent too and even better than the tasting and also the food in the bar the day before ad after was amazing. We found the Arklow Bay Hotel to be the perfect venue for our Civil Partnership. Tina, Els and all the staff at the hotel could not do enough for us. The décor was beautiful, the food was amazing, the accommodation was clean and comfortable and the ground were perfect for the pictures.

To Nicole & Team We got married in this hotel and cant give it enough credit. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Nicole and her team really looked after us and gave us great value for money. The whole hotel has a lovely laidback feel to it and you always feel at home. It’s a very modern hotel which is something I like so don’t expect an old style. Its not far from Dublin, if you want to chill out or are planning a wedding or a party I would really recommend this place –
