I had my wedding in the Maryborough June 2010 and what an amazing day it was .The hotel itself has a mix of the old vintage feel with a modern updated twist . As it was summer and fabulous weather so we had a marquee out in the gardens with the champangne reception , guests were in awe of this beautiful 5 star extravanganza , staff were so nice and accommodating with several requests . The dinner was absolutley ravishing , all the guests were talking how nice the food was especially for a big wedding of 195 . The room itself was stunning with no extra flowers or costs needed . The staff from when we booked the wedding until it was over could not have been more helpful & friendly . The only regret I have is that I never organised a post wedding barbuque for the Sunday , but still all friends and family chilled out in beautiful gardens for the afternoon having a few glasses of wine reminiscing about the days events . All in all I would highly recommend the Maryborough to anyone who wants a beautiful , elegant and quality day . It is well worth it !!! Xxxxx

Sinead Gillen, the hotel's Wedding Co-ordinator is lovely and the reason we booked the Carrigaline Court. When we were booking, we felt she was a genuine person who would do her utmost to look after us and after we had signed on the dotted line, she followed through with everything she said had promised us. Nothing was impossible. From the moment we arrived on our wedding day, our every need was catered for. Everything was thought of and we were very well looked after. The bar, waiting and reception staff were very friendly and efficient. We thought the engraved champagne glasses were a lovely touch. There was a great atmosphere in the Bistro when we arrived and that buzz carried on into the meal. The quality and presentation of the food was excellent; every course was lovely but the beef was a real winner with everyone. The monkfish was fantastic also. The kitchen staff obviously took great time and effort to get this right and I can only commend and praise them for it. The silver service for the main course was a really nice touch and made it really special for everyone. Barry and his team were fantastic to watch and be served by. From the moment we first made contact with Sinead to our final chat with Barry and Eilis just after check out, all I can say is that our wedding day was handled with the utmost professionalism. It really felt like 5 star service. It made our wedding day fun, relaxing and extremely enjoyable; one where we can confidently look back on it knowing that everyone thoroughly enjoyed our day. I hope they enjoyed dealing with us as much as we did with them.

We had an amazing day! Acton's Hotel were great to deal with and allowed us to put our own personal touches around the hotel. The prompt service and quality of the food along with the friendly staff really made everything run smoothly.

We recently celebrated my wedding at the Celtic Ross Hotel. We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to Neil, Teresa and all the staff for their superb service both on the day and throughout the planning process. Having spoken to friends and family who have had weddings in West Cork over the past few years, I was delighted to hear the amount of "hidden extras" that were included in our package, that would cost extra at other hotels in the area. The sea side setting speaks for itself and the food was absolutely fantastic –of the highest quality and plenty of it! I’m still receiving complimentary feedback from guests on it. We recently had our wedding there over the bank holiday weekend, and we chose this venue a year ago for our wedding, we booked it for 2 nights and had around 100 people, and we both were so delighted with the venue and our choice. The food was unreal and the service was second to none. The staff, Mary, Geraldine, Stuart (the Chef) were very good in helping us organize things especially we were doing this abroad. If you are looking for a small intimate wedding with close family and friends, then this is definitely the place for it. We cannot recommend Barnabrow more highly for such a occasion.

I am from Louisiana and I decided to have my wedding at St. Finbar's Oratory in Gougane Barra, Ireland. We had our wedding reception at the Castle Hotel and it better than I could have ever imagined. Now most would expect planning a wedding in a another country would be difficult, but the Castle Hotel made it a breeze. Vicki Wray of the Castle Hotel truly did go above and beyond as well as the rest of the staff and made our wedding experience a night we will never forget. Words cannot express how grateful and pleased I am that I chose to have my wedding at the Castle Hotel. The food was amazing and there was endless amounts of it as well as the liquor! The reception set up was gorgeous and we even had use of the pub in the hotel where we had a band play for our wedding. The bridal suite is hands down beautiful and completely romantic, my photographer even did bridal photos in the room because it was so lovely. Vicki Wray was so helpful she was there every step of the way and had recommendations for everything we may require. I wish I could say more but you really need to experience the magic yourself and fall in love with the experience.

'We had our Wedding Reception in Midleton Park Hotel 12th July 2014 and it was absolutely fantastic. The new decor of the Garden Suite and the Jameson Suite (the ballroom) is amazing and the new Bridal Suite is amazing. The service was fabulous. Every guest we have met since the wedding cannot stop raving about the meal. The food would melt in your mouth. Even though there were seconds for everyone, they were all full with the first portion and everyone got a Hot meal. The staff could not do more for us. We could not have asked for better. Thanks a million to all in Midleton Park Hotel and especially to Joanne for everything.'

We had our wedding reception in Innishannon House last month and had an unbelievable day. We had a very positive experience with the friendly and professional management & staff from the initial meeting all through to the big day. Our guests have not stopped raving about the venue, a real hidden gem. The setting is undeniably beautiful, ideal for photographs and if you are looking for a romantic chilled out fun wedding you will do well to find a better spot than here. The food is top notch, everyone was very complimentary of the service and attention to detail. It is pure genuine down to earth hospitality at its best. We have memories now to cherish for a lifetime and would like to give a big thank you to Margaret,Shane and all the team. We chose Fleming's as the venue for our wedding reception in December 2012. I just can't imagine how any other venue could compare to Fleming's with respect to service, food and attention to detail. Michael was involved with planning our reception from day one and we really appreciated his input... He has years of experience and guided us through the whole occasion. Every second of our day was amazing as we knew we were in great hands! People still refer to "the best food they've ever tasted" and we are very proud to say that we chose Fleming's to celebrate our wonderful day. Thanks again Michael and Eileen! Ciara and Joe

Looking back on our wedding at Blackrock Castle, I just smile. The staff of the observatory and restaurant were very pleasant and helpful. We were married in a small civil ceremony in the small, but elegant and charming, fireplace lobby. The staff (we worked with Deirdre) made sure the decorations and the set up in the room were perfect. Deirdre even allowed us to borrow a candle stand! I remember walking down the red carpet, having just arrived, and into the room, and being wowed by the beauty of the room dressed up with flowers, candles and drapery. After the ceremony, while we were taking photos around the castle (just beautiful!), the staff moved our flowers and candles to the restaurant. We hadn't a thing to worry about except smiling and having a good time. And then, while we were milling around having some drinks, waiting for dinner to be served, Deirdre graciously offered to take ourselves and our guests on a tour of the castle. We climbed down to the dungeon and up to the telescope. This unexpected gesture really added to our day. Blackrock Castle is such a beautiful setting for a wedding. I highly recommend the location and the staff. My husband and I were very happy with our experience, and remember the day fondly, all the more so because of the care of the staff and the beauty of the Blackrock Castle venue.
