Wedding transportation- arrive on time and in style!

The journey from your home to the wedding venue will most likely be terrifying and emotionally thrilling and should never be forgotten. The same amount of time and effort should therefore to go into the wedding transportation as it does with the photography, reception and the all-important dress.

Many brides and grooms are likely to want their wedding transport to accurately reflect their personalities and be significant to them in some way. It is important therefore that the style chosen fits in with the rest of the wedding. A classic black car such as a Rolls Royce or a Bentley would suit a traditional wedding for example.

A vintage car will add a quirky touch to the big day to make it extra special. Choose a really old classic and perhaps even include it as a feature in the actual wedding. You may be lucky enough to find pre- war classics which come in a wide variety of colours.

Horse drawn carriages are often a popular choice for weddings. However, you will need to like animals to be able to fully enjoy this extravagant mode of transportation. This could be problematic for those couples who are getting married in a busy town centre and you will need to take traffic into consideration before you make a decision.

Katie Price hired a Cinderella-inspired pumpkin carriage when she got married to Peter Andre and this is another option if you really want to go for something that is really adventurous and imaginative. For a particularly girly bride, something white, pink or silvery would be ideal. This idea might have to be approved by the groom however!

Monster trucks and hummer limousines are a slightly more masculine mode for transportation. Or perhaps you and your partner are the adventurous and outgoing type? If this is the case, why not take a river boat cruise down to the venue, or even hire a helicopter and fly in?

A journey in any one of these vehicles will undoubtedly be exciting, providing it is stocked with plenty of champagne to keep any nerves at bay.
